At the Athenaeum on Old Town Alexandria, we’ll be part of a fascinating event featuring actors in costume – and in character – reading letters written during the Civil War, interspersed with music from DMH – some tunes of the period, some band originals. More details to come!

Dead Men’s Hollow returns from a summer hiatus by officially releasing our fifth album, “A Dead Men’s Hollow Christmas.”
The CD began as an invitation from National Media Services in Front Royal, VA to record an album of Christmas material that they could use to promote and showcase their recording, mixing and mastering capabilities. It turned into a band challenge to come up with some new original material in addition to crafting DMH arrangements for a few traditional carols. The result is a mix of selections that range from humorous to madrigal in a holiday-themed package.
“A Dead Men’s Hollow Christmas” will be available at our gigs at the Athenaeum in Alexandria on September 13, the Bluemont Fair on September 16, and at Barrel Oak winery on September 29. Mark your calendar for our CD release party at the Hill Center on Capitol Hill on Sunday, December 2.
