Thanks to Catherine Aselford at the Athenaeum for this NYE shot from the back of the room!

One of the four amazing crowds who made our New Year’s Eve at the Athenaeum in Old Town Alexandria so marvelous!
Wishing all our fans a wonderful new year.
Please come on out to Jammin Java on Sunday for an afternoon of Americana and bluegrass from us, Smoke n’ Mangos and Andy Michaels. Tickets can be purchased here. We’d love to see you once more before the holiday madness commences! Things get rollin’ at 12:30; we’re the second of the three acts to perform.
Tonight, November 1, 2014, we’ll be doing a couple of sets heavy on murder and mayhem, in keeping with the season. The venue informs me that a handful of $20 walk-up tickets remain for the 7pm show (doors 6:30). Come on out and get your creepy on! We’ve dusted off some old spine-tinglers and will debut at least one ghost story set to music…
Here’s the venue. BOO!
We’re playing a private benefit on Capitol Hill, DC for the Capitol Hill Day School on this day, from 5pm til sunset. There’ll be barbecue, beer and bluegrass for all! Tickets are $75 each; please note this is NOT a child-friendly event. We love ’em, too, but that’s the way it goes.
Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to get more info and/or buy tickets.
We’re launching not one but THREE band offspring to college in August, so by choice our summer is light on gigs.
We do have one coming up next month in Arlington, VA with our friends from the Guillotine Theater. Please consider coming out to Lubber Run Amphitheater on July 13 if you can; we’ll be doing our Civil War Songs and Letters show that night.
Know that we are working on new stuff, booking shows for the fall and winter now, and even preparing for our 10th Anniversary party/gig at a venue near [some of] you. More details on that as we hammer them down.

Dead Men’s Hollow
We’re already filling our 2014 calendar — with shows at new venues (Gypsy Sally’s) and old favorites (Jammin’ Java). Check our 2014 calendar often, and we hope to see you soon!
Hey folks: Hope you are all having a lovely summer.
Everyone in DMH has been traveling to see friends or family the last few weeks, but we are getting ready for a private party August 31 in Arlington and a public one September 2 – more details on that to come. For the rest of the year, we’ll play two or three shows per month, and will be rolling out a bunch of new material. Hope to see you at a gig!
Mark your calendars for April 27, 2013! Dead Men’s Hollow is among the acts at this young and growing music festival that drew more than 3,000 attendees last year. Also on deck to perform: Bob Perilla and Big Hillbilly Bluegrass, the Hackensaw Boys, Hollertown, By & By, Split String Soup and King Street Bluegrass. All the details here!
